Product Description

Get ready for your friendly neighborhood target practice with this amazing 5-in-1 blaster. The lock-and-load spin system lets you choose between blasting web fluid, spraying water, launching a foam suction dart, using the rotating missile blaster or rapid-firing three stretchy webs. Choose your web blaster and lock onto your target. Includes web fluid, suction-tipped darts, missiles and three stretchy ammo webs. Requires 4 "AA" batteries, included. Measures 8" x 8" x 10".
Kids who wish they had the abilities of Spider-Man without having to actually get bitten by a radioactive spider might want to check out this Ultimate Web Blaster. The chunky plastic device is worn on the bottom half of the arm by slipping your hand into the built-in glove. Five compartments on the outside of the blaster hold canisters full of sticky fun to stop opponents in their tracks. When the hero pulls down on the two-finger trigger, whatever canister currently at the top of the blaster is put in use.

Includes web fluid, suction-tipped darts, missiles, and three stretchy webs. View larger.

A spin system lets you rotate the pre-loaded blaster positions once you are wearing it. View larger.
The five-in-one arm shooter comes with a selection of ammunition: web fluid, suction-tipped darts, missiles, and three stretchy webs. The last compartment is for spraying water, which you can grab right out of the tap. A lock-and-load spin system lets you rotate the pre-loaded blaster positions once you are wearing it, so changing up your attack plan or running out of a particular ammunition doesnÕt mean game play has to stop while you change out canisters. That really gets our Spidey senses tingling!

We imagine that this toy is even better if your best friend has one, too. The creative wheels would never stop spinning! But if you're lucky enough to be the only kid on the block with the Ultimate Web Blaster, you can also use it for fun target practice. Tree branches, empty cans, retired action figures, or anything else you want to take aim at is now your min objective. Should your canister run dry, refills are available for purchase separately. And remember: With great power, comes great responsibility--to have fun!

Two boys' review: Webs run out soon, toy is not a good value
Review date: 2008-07-20 Rating: 6 out of 10

We bought two of these for our young sons. They are both die-hard Spider-Man fans and loved the idea of shooting webs just like Spidey.

Our sons loved these web shooters...while they lasted. Even with the extra canisters of web fluid, our sons ran out of webbing in the first weekend.

The negatives:

* The shooter is bulky, so take care that young children don't accidentally fall down on it.

* The web fluid lasts for only a couple minutes. I won't be buying replacements at $5 per can.

* The trigger mechanism has a tendancy to stick.

* The edges of the foam darts split after repeated use.

In summary, your child will have a web shooter than fires from only three of its intended five canisters. For the price, the toy should last longer.
This is a great toy for a weekend but it doesn't hold up for an entire summer.

Web Blaster for a four year old
Review date: 2008-06-13 Rating: 8 out of 10

At first it appeared it might be a little big for a four year old, but the energy was abundant so the can of webslinger lasted all of 3 minutes. After depleting the can of web spray, he continued to expend that bundle of energy launching the small soft darts or squirting the water gun. The cost is marginal for what you get. They should include at least two cans of spray knowing it does not last long at all. The product appears to be well built and safe for young children to play with. If it lasts another 5 months then the durability will be considered good. I would only recommend this for a young child that is fairly active or has good command of the motor skills.

Fun for boys of all ages!

My 30+ brother bought this for my 40+ husband. He had a blast, but I'm still picking string out of every crevice in my house! Web ran out fast, but I suppose I'll buy him more...

Probably better for older boys
Review date: 2008-02-05 Rating: 6 out of 10

Santa brought this blaster this year and well, after long, arduous pleas for it, it is sitting in the toybox. Was even told "I wish I hadn't asked for it." I suppose if the child is at LEAST 7, more like 8 it would be better, but since it is SO heavy and cumbersome, it's quite difficult for the boys to work it and use it for any length of time. The silly string it comes with as webs is gone in about 10-15 minutes and is incredibly over priced. The different web tubes are quite difficult to manuever and the boys had to be helped with changing the type of ammo they wanted to use. For as pricey as this guy is, there are other web blasters out there sold separately, that contain each one of these shooters individually and in twos. To be honest, they'd add up to more than this one bought separately, but it is worth it in my book. We have 2 of the other ones and the boys have much more fun using them because they're lighter and easier to manuever. This was used by 6 and 7-year-olds and they much, much preferred the single web blasters over this one. Again, if they're older, this would probably be more fun. But for little fingers and arms, you might want to consider the smaller blasters. Sorta recommend with caution to the age factor.

LANO's Mom
Review date: 2008-01-11 Rating: 10 out of 10

This is a fabulous toy. My son loves it. It has all kinds of neat things for spiderman to do in one toy. One down side that one must be careful about- the web fluid runs out FAST and it is pricey. It is also the thing that my son most likes to play with. Just be prepared to spend some bucks and then watch your child have a blast. (A can of web fluid is about 5.00 and lasts about 15 minutes) Things the toy does: Shoots water, web fluid, darts, and webs. What a blast for the spiderman fanatic that lives at my house and I bet yours too.
