The best baby float! Review date: 2008-05-12 Rating: 10 out of 10 Love this float. I bought this float for my 14 month old daughter. We've used it once and it's great. It's very steady and study in the water, even with my older children jumping and splashing around it. Easy to assemble. The only negative is the stickers don't stay on. Overall, I'm very happy with this product and know we'll use it a lot this summer. Safe and Fun Review date: 2007-08-12 Rating: 10 out of 10 Our eight month old grandson loves this boat...It keeps the sun off him and has interactive play with the steering wheel and horn and side toys...We feel he is safe and we can pull him around the pool without having to carry him...Just great fun and a good picture taking opportunity...highly recommend... Swimways Rescue Boat Review date: 2007-08-11 Rating: 10 out of 10 start out in this and the baby will think there is no other way to swim...you can be in the water and not have to hold him all the time. it was great, he enjoyed the bell and the (bakersfield ) heat did not bother him with the shade..i thought it was great for us as a family! A Great Pool Toy with a couple of issues Review date: 2007-05-09 Rating: 8 out of 10 Bryce's Gramma sent him this little boat knowing we have a pool and that inflatables just don't last. This boat is great!! He sits low enough in the seat that he can't flip over and would have great difficulty crawling out. The seat has four adjustment levels. Bryce is 30" tall and uses level two. I believe he will be able to use this for a long time... Why not 5 stars? 1. Assembly - While not difficult, I'm not happy with having to apply stickers, which is what all of the decorations on the boat are. Stickers in water?? Curious as to how long they'll last. We'll probably end up drawing a face on when the stickers fall off. 2. The horn, which was supposed to have been preassembled, came laying in the bottom of the box. After one day's use, I've had to reinstall the horn 3 times. NOT an easy task given the tight fit. Will have to be glued in place if I can figure out how to glue with the tight squeeze. UPDATE: Have tried several different glues, all to no avail. Horn will not stay in. 3. The canopy falls back into the water. I flipped it over to try to put more tension into it. Now, looking at the photo Amazon provided, it looks like they may have changed the way it attaches. Tomorrow I plan to really shorten the "ropes" that are used to attach the canopy to the boat. It you look at the customer photos I provided, I made a note on one to illustrate. Even with these few issues, I feel this boat is well worth the money. Knowing how many inflatables kids can go through in one summer, this is so worth it! |
