Review date: 2008-07-19 Rating: 8 out of 10 The Aqua Leisure has proven to be an excellent, non-threatening way to introduce young children to the lake. It provides a fun way to get comfortable in a body of water that can seem to be awfully large or deep to a 2- to 4-year-old. survived a fight between my twin boys Review date: 2008-06-29 Rating: 10 out of 10 i purchased one of these floaties thinking that my kids could take turns. well, i was wrong. my 3yo twin boys use this float as the rope in a tug of war over who got it, and i couldn't help but be impressed with its durability. we've had the float for about two months now, and the horn is still intact, so perhaps the company has improved its quality control process? i do agree with the other reviewers that this float has a tendency to dip towards the back, but i noticed this happens only when my boys try to use the air-filled backrest as a true backrest. it seems that this toy was designed to assume the rider is holding the steering wheel while leaning a bit forward. for the price, it was much better quality and way more fun for my kids than anything i could find in a store. DOESN'T HOLD AIR Review date: 2006-08-10 Rating: 2 out of 10 I have purchase two of these this summer and my daughter never got to enjoy either one. Neither one would stay inflated from the word GO. Swim School has serious issues with quality control. It's too bad because this boat is perfect, in theory, for a larger toddler. Swim School Toddler: OK but faulty Review date: 2006-07-22 Rating: 4 out of 10 As per prior reviews, the steering wheel falls off immediately, so be prepared for this. Toddler Racer so-so Review date: 2006-07-14 Rating: 6 out of 10 We bought the Toddler Racer because we loved the infant boat. Our two year old doesn't really like going in the new racer because it sinks down in the back (the infant model did NOT do this)and the front end goes up. She is a petite child, so weight is not the issue. We also think it came defective because air continually leaks out and it needs to be re-inflated each time we use it which is a big hassle. |
